Jordanian banks see market value soar with economic value added boost.
The study looked at how Jordanian commercial banks perform using two types of evaluation indicators: traditional ones like return on equity, and modern ones like economic added value. They used data from 2000 to 2013 for 13 listed banks. The results showed that both return on equity and economic added value have a positive impact on market value-added in Jordan's banking industry, with economic added value showing better results.
