Organic structure and culture key to boosting knowledge creation and sharing
The study looked at how the way a company is organized and its culture can affect how knowledge is created and shared. They surveyed 150 people in 30 companies in Serbia and found that having a flexible structure and a culture that values knowledge both help with creating knowledge. However, only a knowledge-supporting culture helps with sharing knowledge. This means that companies should focus on building a culture that values knowledge to improve how information is shared among employees.
