Lake Ulansuhai experienced eutrophication from 2006 to 2017. Different areas of the lake showed varying levels of nutrient enrichment, with some regions trending towards slight eutrophication while others towards moderate eutrophication. Factors like water salinity, pH, and depth played crucial roles in driving the lake's eutrophication. Salinity was identified as the most significant factor influencing nutrient levels in the lake.
