Boost Wheat Yields and Save Nitrogen with Organic Fertilizers!
The researchers studied how different types of nitrogen fertilizers affect wheat growth. They tested three wheat varieties and various combinations of inorganic and organic nitrogen. The results showed that Gemmiza 10 had the highest yields and nutrient uptake, followed by Gemmiza 9 and Sakha 93. Using 100% inorganic nitrogen gave the best results for Gemmiza 10, while a mix of 75% inorganic and 25% organic nitrogen worked well for Sakha 93. This suggests that using compost as a fertilizer can help save on inorganic nitrogen while still producing good wheat yields.
