High-level entrepreneurship education boosts student start-ups in entrepreneurial cultures.
Entrepreneurship education and the environment of a university play a big role in how many students start their own businesses. A study looked at data from 67 countries in 2014 and 2016 to see how high-level entrepreneurship education and a culture of entrepreneurship affect student start-ups. The study found that teaching entrepreneurship at a high level, not just basic, is more effective for students. It also showed that informal rules and customs at a university have a bigger impact on student entrepreneurship than formal rules.
