New Course Aims to Support Veterans and Families Facing Mental Health Challenges
A course was created to help veterans and their families cope with the mental health, social, legal, and educational challenges they face after returning from war. Many veterans struggle with mental health issues like PTSD, substance abuse, and relationship problems. The Department of Defense funds programs to support veterans, but more mental health specialists are needed to help with psychological effects. Children and spouses of deployed military personnel also suffer from anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems. The goal is to provide support and resources for veterans and their families to improve their well-being.
