Golden Beach in Taiwan has been eroding despite efforts like building groins and beach nourishment. Researchers studied the beach changes using satellite images and field observations. They found that the imbalance of longshore sand transport near Erren River mouth is causing the erosion. Future measures to address this issue were discussed based on the field data collected.
