New model predicts evapotranspiration in Brazil, aiding agrarian and environmental studies.
The goal of the research was to find a way to estimate evapotranspiration using only temperature data in Brazil. Different models were tested using data from 22 meteorological stations. The FPMead model performed the best, followed by the PE, HSb, and HSc models. The models worked best for stations in humid tropical zones.
