Regional economic integration in Africa has a positive impact on trade within the continent and with the rest of the world. The study focused on five regional economic communities and found that the creation of the African Union significantly boosted trade activities. This integration should be a key part of Africa's development strategy, leading to reduced poverty and improved quality of life. Good governance and political stability are crucial for maximizing the benefits of regional economic integration.
