Boost Sesame Crop Yields in Ethiopia with N and P Fertilizers!
The study looked at how adding nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers to sesame plants in north-western Ethiopia affected their growth and yield. They found that applying these fertilizers increased plant height, the number of capsules per plant, and overall yield. More nitrogen led to quicker flowering, while more phosphorus resulted in taller plants and higher yields. The best results came from a combination of 128 kg of nitrogen and 92 kg of phosphorus, giving the highest yield. Overall, adding the right amounts of these fertilizers can significantly improve sesame crop production in low-fertile soil.
