The SandFlow is a device that measures sand transport by sound. It was tested on a Dutch island and in a lab. The SandFlow works well when sand transport is strong, but less accurate for low sand movement. It measures lower sand amounts than another device but is still useful. It is best for sand coarser than 300 µm, but can work for finer sand with adjustments.
