Toxic Chemicals in Water Harmful to Nile Tilapia Fish Health
The researchers studied the effects of diazinon and sodium benzoate on Nile tilapia fish. They found that exposure to diazinon led to changes in blood components and organs, including increased liver enzyme activities and decreased acetylcholinesterase. Sodium benzoate also caused similar effects. Histopathological studies showed liver cell degeneration and kidney abnormalities in exposed fish compared to control fish.
