Sucrose Levels in White Rice, Brown Rice, and Corn Rice Differ Significantly
The study compared the levels of sugar in white rice, brown rice, and corn rice. The researchers used a method called Luff Schoorl to measure the sugar content in the rice samples. They found that white rice had the highest sugar content at 8.53%, followed by corn rice at 6.55%, and brown rice at 6.48%. Statistical analysis confirmed that there was a significant difference in sugar levels between the three types of rice.
