Optimal fertilizer combination boosts onion seed yield and quality in Ethiopia.
The study looked at how different amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers affect the yield and quality of onion seeds in Ethiopia. They tested different levels of these fertilizers and found that using 100 kg of nitrogen and 70 kg of phosphorus per hectare resulted in the highest seed yield and quality. This combination increased seed yield by 57.72% compared to no fertilizer use. This information can help onion seed producers in similar areas improve their crop production.
