New vacuum glazing technology slashes energy bills with superior insulation performance!
Vacuum glazing with Low-E coating is a new type of insulation material that has great benefits like keeping heat in and blocking sound. Scientists used computer simulations to study how different factors affect the heat transfer of this glazing. They found that thicker glass makes heat transfer slower, narrower sealing edges reduce heat transfer, and spacing between support pillars and their materials affect heat transfer. Using a thermal insulation frame can also improve insulation. Experiments confirmed the simulation results, showing a 2.8% difference. This study helps in designing better vacuum glazing for improved insulation.
