A new method was developed to analyze how much solar energy can be generated from rooftops. The study compared different ways to estimate this potential and introduced a simpler method that considers the economic benefits of having solar panels on a building. The research found that the total potential energy generated annually from rooftops was around 1273.7 MWh, with physical, geographic, technical, and economic contributions. Understanding these potentials is important for making smart investments in solar energy systems.
