Aerogel-enhanced insulation materials were studied to see how they perform in different moisture and temperature conditions. The more aerogel in the material, the better it insulates and the lighter it is. Increasing moisture levels make the material's thermal conductivity increase more slowly with more aerogel. Changes in humidity affect the material's thermal conductivity more than changes in temperature. Higher aerogel content makes the material more sensitive to humidity levels.
