By studying how the food we eat affects water, energy, and food resources, researchers are looking for ways to make diets more sustainable. They found that combining Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and the Water–Energy–Food (WEF) Nexus approach can help understand these connections better. While different methods exist for analyzing diets, not many focus on how everything is connected in our food system. The integrated LCA and WEF Nexus approach can help us see the bigger picture and improve how we make and choose our food.
