New solar panel technology maximizes energy output for efficient power generation.
Solar panels produce varying amounts of energy based on sunlight intensity and temperature. To maximize their power output, a system called Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is used. This study developed an MPPT system using the Perturb and Observe algorithm to control a DC-DC converter. The goal was to ensure solar panels operate at their most efficient point, known as the Maximum Power Point (MPP). By using this algorithm, the researchers were able to optimize the power output of a 100-watt solar panel.
