A new copula model was created to better understand how two things are related. This model can handle different types of relationships and has more flexibility than existing models. By using mixtures of normal distributions, the model can capture complex patterns in data. When applied to real transportation data, this new model outperformed other existing models in capturing the relationships between different variables.
