Integrated resource management could transform global sustainability in the Anthropocene
The Water-Energy-Food (WEF) nexus is a way of looking at how water, energy, and food are connected in our world. Some people have criticized this idea for being too theoretical, but now there is a push to turn these ideas into action. This means actually making changes in how we manage these resources. Different places are starting to put policies in place to make this happen, from big regions to small cities. There isn't one solution that works everywhere, so each place needs to figure out what will work best for them.
