Kozan Dam Lake Zooplankton Study Reveals Water Quality Concerns.
The researchers studied the water quality and zooplankton in Kozan Dam Lake. They found that the water quality was good for temperature, oxygen, and certain nutrients, but not as good for pH and conductivity. They identified 50 zooplankton species, with Rotifera being the most abundant group. The most common species were Synchaeta pectinata, Bosmina longirostris, and Cyclops vicinus. Different species were found in different months, with Rotifera being most abundant in December, Cladocera in January, and Copepoda in September.
