The researchers studied how to freeze and preserve cat sperm using powdered coconut water. They compared two methods for sperm recovery and found that TRIS was better than ACP-117c for freezing. Both methods showed a decrease in sperm movement and viability after thawing, but TRIS performed better overall. Glycerolization and thawing were identified as critical stages in the process, regardless of the method used. Overall, ACP-117c is good for recovering cat sperm, but not as effective for freezing it.
