The study looked at how high-performance work systems affect how well banks perform in Pakistan. Instead of just looking at individual HR practices, the researchers studied how all HR practices work together to impact performance. They collected data from 218 bank branches and found that when employees see their workplace as having a high-performance work system, the bank tends to have more deposits, advances, and profitability at the branch level. This shows that having a strong HR system in place can lead to better performance in banks.
