Aldicarb soil treatments were tested on cotton growth and yield in a semi-arid region with sandy loam soil. Applying aldicarb granules at different dosages led to increased plant height, more branches, more bolls, and higher seed cotton yield. The higher the dosage, the greater the positive impact on plant growth and cotton yield. Compared to untreated plots, treated plots showed significant increases in seed cotton yield of 267.6 to 872.5 Kg/ha, depending on the dosage used.
