The ASEAN-China free trade zone is changing how ASEAN countries trade. Despite ASEAN's Free Trade Area, countries still trade more with regions outside ASEAN. China is becoming a major trading partner for ASEAN, even more than the US, EU, and Japan. Trade between China and ASEAN is growing fast. However, ASEAN countries might trade less with each other because of the ASEAN-China free trade zone.
