The study looked at how using better irrigation and farming methods can increase profits for rice farmers in Pakistan. They compared data from 2017 and 2018 and found that farmers who used these improved practices made more money per acre of rice they grew. This increase in profit was mainly because of using better irrigation techniques and other farming methods. The study also showed that working together with both public and private partners helped farmers adopt these water-efficient practices. Overall, the research proves that using water-efficient techniques and good farming practices can make a big difference for rice farmers in Pakistan.
