Revolutionizing Livestock Waste: Boosting Nutrient Retention in Composting Process!
The study aimed to find better ways to turn cow manure into useful compost. Different mixtures of cow dung, maize straw, and decomposition agents were used to make compost piles. Adding 1% of decomposition agents helped keep more nitrogen in the compost. Phosphorus and potassium levels didn't change much with different treatments. The amount of organic matter in the compost decreased over time.
