New Tillage Method Boosts Crop Yield and Income by Over 40%!
The study aimed to find the best farming method for growing winter wheat and summer maize in Guanzhong. Researchers compared different tillage methods and found that high standing stubble and seeding summer maize was the most effective. A specific method involving straw chopping, sub-soiling, and no-tillage seeding of summer maize resulted in a 38.3% increase in yield and a 42.7% increase in net income compared to traditional tillage. This method improved soil conditions and maintained high and stable crop yields.
