The study focused on predicting sediment yield and stream flow in the Dedissa sub basin in Ethiopia. Researchers used a hydrological model called SWAT to simulate how land use changes affect sediment and stream flow. The model accurately predicted sediment yield and stream flow, showing good agreement with observed data. Sensitivity analysis identified key parameters controlling sediment yield and stream flow. Overall, the SWAT model is a reliable predictor for understanding sediment yield in the Dedissa sub basin.
