Soybean Yields Soar with Weed Control and Nutrient-Rich Soil
A study was done to see how different ways of controlling weeds and levels of nutrients affect soybean growth. Using methods like hand weeding and certain herbicides led to fewer weeds and higher soybean yield. Also, using higher levels of nitrogen and phosphorus resulted in better crop growth and more seeds produced. Overall, combining higher fertility levels with certain weed control methods proved to be the most cost-effective way to grow soybeans.
