Revolutionizing Slope Restoration: New Models for Baekdu-Mountain Range Revegetation
The Baekdu-Mountain Range protection law led to interest in restoring its natural environment. Slopes created by roads in the area have trouble growing vegetation naturally. Previous attempts using foreign grasses failed to blend in with the surroundings and withered quickly. This study looked at different plants and methods for restoring the slopes in the Baekdu-Mountain Range. The researchers found new models for restoring the damaged hill areas.
