Unconventional tillage systems boost soybean productivity in Moldavian plain.
The study aimed to find the best way to protect soil and help soybean plants grow well in Moldavian plain. Different tillage methods were tested, and it was found that unconventional methods like paraplow and chisel were as good as traditional ploughing for crop yield. The soil became more compacted as the plants grew, but the depth and type of tillage affected how compacted it became. Overall, using unconventional tillage methods can improve soil quality and crop productivity in similar areas.
