The article introduces a new ratio estimator for survey sampling that uses additional information to estimate population mean more accurately. The proposed estimator is shown to be more efficient than existing ones through analytical and numerical comparisons. The bias of the new estimator is minimal, making it as good as the regression estimator and better than other estimators considered.
