New Coagulation Process Boosts Water Treatment Efficiency for High Turbidity Levels
The goal of the study was to improve the process of removing dirt from water at a treatment plant in Kandana. The researchers tested different methods using chemicals like Alum, lime, and polymers to see which worked best for high and low levels of dirt in the water. They found that adding polymers and lime with Alum was most effective for high dirt levels, while Alum alone worked just as well for low dirt levels. pH levels were also affected by the different methods used.
