New Herbicide Strategy Saves Wheat Crops from Resistant Weed Takeover!
The researchers conducted a field experiment to manage isoproturon-resistant Phalaris minor in wheat crops in the tarai region. They tested different herbicide treatments and found that tank-mix or sequential application of herbicides is more effective in controlling the resistant weed compared to using herbicides alone. No harm was observed on the wheat crop from any of the herbicide treatments. This approach can help farmers deal with the problem of herbicide-resistant Phalaris minor in their wheat fields.
