Global economy to remain weak, slow growth expected for next two years.
The world economy slowed down in 2015, but is expected to gradually improve over the next two years. Global GDP is predicted to grow by 3.1% in 2016, 3.4% in 2016, and 3.8% in 2017. Advanced economies are getting stronger due to supportive monetary policies, rising wages, and lower oil prices. On the other hand, emerging economies are facing challenges from low commodity prices and structural issues, but are expected to see some growth in the future.
