Local Fish Feeds Boost Growth of African Catfish Fingerlings Significantly
The study looked at how different types of fish food affect the growth of African catfish fingerlings. The researchers fed the fish different diets and monitored their growth over 12 weeks. They found that the fish fed with diet B had the highest weight and length gain. Diet A had the highest white blood cell count, while diet C had the most protein. Overall, the locally formulated feeds in the study led to the best growth and nutrient use for the catfish.
