The main goal of the article is to identify the challenges that are holding back the growth of dress fashion design in Ghana. The researchers interviewed 12 fashion designers to gather information. They found that the major obstacles include the influx of cheap imported fashion products and foreigners selling fashion items. To help Ghanaian fashion businesses, the government needs to enforce laws against smuggled goods and strictly prohibit foreigners from engaging in petty trading.
