Boosting Crop Yields and Saving Costs with Conservation Agriculture Practices
The study tested different tillage methods for growing wheat and soybeans together. They found that using minimum tillage or conventional tillage gave higher crop yields compared to no-till. Minimum tillage also saved money and energy. The soil quality was better with minimum tillage and no-till, with more organic carbon. This shows that using animal power for conservation agriculture can help small farmers grow soybeans and wheat more efficiently.
