The study looked at how the relationship between leaders and employees affects how committed employees are to their organization and if it influences their behavior at work. They found that when leaders and employees have a good relationship, employees are more committed to their organization. However, this relationship did not have an impact on employees' deviant behavior. The status of the leader also played a role in how committed employees were to the organization.
