The study looked at ways to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions from gas boilers. They found that by adjusting the amount of air and recirculating flue gas, nitrogen oxide emissions can be significantly reduced. When 20% of the flue gas is recirculated, nitrogen oxide emissions can be minimized to around 40 mg/m3.
