Transformative leadership boosts work engagement through psychological capital mediation.
The study looked at how different types of leadership affect how engaged employees are at work. They found that both transformational and transactional leadership styles can increase work engagement. This increase is partly because of employees' psychological capital, which is how they see their own psychological resources. Transformational leadership has a strong effect on work engagement through psychological capital. This means that leaders who inspire their employees can help them perform better and be more committed to their work.
