Weed management boosts Indian mustard yield and profits in Rajasthan
In a study on Indian mustard, researchers found that using two hand-weedings at specific times led to the best plant growth and highest seed yield. However, for maximum profit, applying fluazifop-p-butyl herbicide after sowing followed by hoeing at a later stage was most effective. This approach resulted in the highest net returns and benefit-cost ratio compared to other weed-management practices tested.
