Wasted Food Fuels Environmental Crisis, Demands Urgent Action
Food waste is a growing concern in our food systems, but it hasn't been studied much by food experts. By looking at articles in food journals, it was found that mentions of food waste are increasing but still not a big focus. To improve our understanding of food wastage, researchers suggest exploring three new areas in food systems research. They believe that considering waste as a natural part of food systems can lead to valuable insights for future studies.
