Optimizing nitrogen and zinc levels boosts wheat yield significantly.
The study looked at how different levels of nitrogen and zinc affect the growth and yield of wheat. They tested various amounts of nitrogen and zinc on wheat plants to see which combination produced the best results. The results showed that using 160 kg of nitrogen per hectare and 2 kg of zinc per hectare led to the highest plant height, number of tillers, grain yield, and straw yield. This combination also had the most effective tillers per plant, highest grain yield, and straw yield. The study suggests that using the right amounts and combinations of nitrogen and zinc can improve wheat yield and help in breeding better wheat varieties in the future.
