Structured Decision Making Saves Sylhet Forests from Deforestation Crisis.
Deforestation in Sylhet, Bangladesh is a big problem, but a structured decision-making approach involving different stakeholders can help. By talking to different groups and considering their views, a plan was made to protect the forests by improving management and reducing reliance on forest resources. The main focus should be on safeguarding the forests through better management practices. This study shows how this approach can be used to promote sustainable forest management in Sylhet, highlighting both challenges and opportunities along the way.
