The article investigates the potential for geothermal energy in non-volcanic areas, focusing on the Sajau region in Indonesia. By studying the geology and analyzing water and soil samples, researchers aim to understand the fluid characteristics, reservoir temperature, and prospect areas. The findings suggest that non-volcanic geothermal areas have the potential to be a sustainable and low-emission energy source, with the Sajau region showing promise for further research and development.
