A 41-year-old woman with a history of travel to Wuhan, China, where the 2019 novel coronavirus was spreading, showed symptoms of fever. Chest CT scans revealed ground-glass opacities in her lungs, a common sign of 2019-nCoV pneumonia. A throat swab confirmed the presence of the virus. The patient was isolated for monitoring.
