The research looked at productivity growth in Tunisian manufacturing industries from 2002 to 2016. They used a method called the Malmquist productivity index to analyze changes in total factor productivity. The results showed that productivity increased by an average of two percent during this period. This growth was mainly due to advancements in technology rather than improvements in efficiency.
